For dispensationalists like Hagee, such efforts must have been especially urgent given the events of 1979: Egypt and Israel signed a peace accord in March, the Iranian revolution began in April, and in November, militants calling for the overthrow of the House of Saud seized the Grand Mosque in Mecca. These were flashing red signs for a movement that believed conflict would inevitably precede the fulfillment of prophecy. Hagee’s effort to keep the United States on the “right side” began in earnest by 1981.

Reid’s comments went viral. It became a rallying cry for the right. Protesters mused: So we are domestic terrorists for protesting a heavy-handed government that is taking away constitutional freedoms—but when Maj. Nidal Hasan actually murdered 13 people at Fort Hood army base, that was just “workplace violence”? To many protesters, Reid’s comments seemed to confirm their worst suspicions.

So The Lord in His mercy provides an indicator of when this great era of Jewish revival will come to pass. “The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the Lord come.” (Joel 2:31). This will be the indication that the Day of The Lord has started. Lord willing it should be clear that this sign in the heavens is not just a general indication that “something is going to happen.” Notice verse 30 says there will be signs in Heaven and Earth with “blood, fire and pillars of smoke.” Biltz and Hagee make no mention of these signs.
“Therefore say I unto you, the Kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.” “And whosoever shall fall upon this stone shall be broken…” “And when the chief priest and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spake of them.” “In His mercy, Jesus Christ continues to reach out, even to the Jews who despise and hate Him. A remnant will repent and believe in Him and shall be saved (Romans 11:23).
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them…For it is the God who commanded light to shine out o f darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4-6).
The Bible provides the only solution to the evil of this world. While the world is heading for a judgment day as a result of sin and rejecting God's love through Christ, an individual can escape that fate through a simple act of faith. In fact, you can be as certain of making it through the end times and of being saved from judgment as the Lord's predictions are assured of coming true. For those that can see the truth in God's Word through prophecy, know also that the Bible provides a simple and guaranteed alternative to judgment, which is vital for every person to understand. Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.- Joel 2:1-6.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call. – Joel 2:30-32.
What is most despicable about the Hebrew Roots movement is that they give Christians and excuse to throw out the baby with the dirty bathwater. The chair of Moses, all over again. It was never Moses, it was the Spirit that inspired him they couldn’t hear. They could only hear the words of the Babylonian theologians. A Haggadah isn’t even Hebrew in origin. I am not trying to convince you or anyone of anything. I am just suggesting that when we examine what we think we know, sometimes we can be surprised with what we can learn. The problem with knowledge, is that once we have it, we are responsible to obey. Obey… there is that nasty old testament word again.

The eclipses in the 2014 - 2015 Tetrad all lasted less than two hours. The darkness that fell over Egypt as punishment for not releasing the children of Israel from slavery lasted for three days (Exodus 10:21 - 22). The day of the Lord, however, when God miraculously causes the moon to appear as blood, will last approximately eighteen months! This Biblical sign of the end of man's rule on earth will be so spectacular that it will be undeniable (Revelation 19).

Almost all futurist Bible prophecy students will agree that there are three end time wars involving Israel. However, we disagree somewhat on the timing of first two wars. Those wars being the Ezekiel Chapter 38 and 39 war where Gog comes down with a host of nations and the Psalm 83 war where a confederacy of nations attempts to cut Israel off from being a nation. In the mix somewhere is the destruction of Damascus since the prophecy has never been fulfilled yet.
John Hagee is the author of four New York Times bestsellers, as well as Jerusalem Countdown, which itself has sold over 1 million copies. He is the founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a nondenominational evangelical church with more than 20,000 active members, as well as the founder and president of John Hagee Ministries, which telecasts his radio and television teachings throughout America and in 249 nations worldwide. Hagee is also the founder and national chairman of Christians United for Israel, a grassroots national association with over 1 million members to date.
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”
In my utterly humble and shaken opinion, what I am about to present to you is the single most ASTONISHING piece of information Tribulation-Now has ever published.  Many will not grasp the significance.  This is understandable.  Many will “pass judgement” upon Pastor Hagee, and for that my heart is saddened.  Nobody is perfect.  And without utter humility many will not be found worthy to stand before the Son of Man.
“How can the reader know when the Corporate Media is lying to him (never mind the fact that the media is Satan’s Mouthpiece and Satan is the father of lies)?  One easy way to tell is the use of “Why” and “How” in the headlines of an article.  When the reader sees “Why?” or “How?” in the headline–occasionally “What” is used–that which follows will be a fairy tale, a narrative, a bedtime story spun by the media for the benefit of the media’s master.”  “Why” usually denotes an on-going narrative; “How” signifies a story line which explains past events.  Not all narratives begin with “How” or “Why.” However, the most in-your-face, over-the-top ones usually do.
OK, now that Hagee's "theory" has been completely disproven, where's his retraction or public apology? Why is the book still on the market? The four blood moons and came and went... and nothing... no surprise, I predicted this in my own book, "End of the World Propheteers: Exposing the Truth about Apocalyptic Predictions and the Blood Moon Scam. Jesus said, "Only the Father [God] knows" the timetable.
Well, guess what? Did you know John Hagee is divorced? He founded Cornerstone Church after divorcing his first wife, Martha Downing in 1975. The divorce was quite the scandal for congregants of Trinity Church, where he was minister at the time. He then remarried, getting hitched to Diana Castro, who was a congregant at Trinity and is still his current wife.
I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT THAT EVERYTHING THE POSTER I’M QUOTING MENTIONED, I LEARNED FROM PASTOR MARK BILTZ. CONTRARY TO POPULAR OPINION, HE ONLY PREACHES SCRIPTURE AND DOESN’T CLAIM TO KNOW WHEN JESUS IS RETURNING–SIMPLY THAT WE ARE TO BE ON GOD’S CALENDAR AND THAT ALL THE PLANETS/MOON/STARS BELONG TO HIM. HE DEFINITELY PREACHES THAT YESHUA IS THE MESSIAH, AND THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN IS THROUGH HIM.

Thanks for your reply, which does not answer my question but goes off on a tangent and does not address the issue but sends the discussion to an area where there is no discussion. What you said is true but it does not negate the fact that haSatan, uses religious people, to “teach” his version of YHWH’s Word and that true seekers of His Kingdom need to be aware of this. Wether you want to call it haSatan or the spirit of Antichrist, I hate capitalizing that word, is semantics.
John Hagee is right on! We had better be prepared and pray for those who aren’t. Instead of acting pious like the Saducees and Pharisees, we had better humble ourselves before our Lord. We have to pray that God will remove the blinders over our eyes, so we can see what is really happening in the world. The Bible is more current that the evening news. I am just thankful we will be kept out of the the great tribulation.
Dreams are also something it is advisable to be cautious about. Some dreams do come from YHWH, we know that. Scripture says so. Everything YHWH does, His enemy copies. Be careful about the rapture dream. The rapture is a theological concept developed just a couple of hundred years ago. I have studied and prayed about it for years now and I have my answer. I am not your Holy Spirit, but in Yashua you have access to the throne of YHWH. Ask Him. His Spirit will bring you His answer. (And His enemy will give you a bunch of spiritual-sounding theologically sound answers which theologians themselves will fuss about)
Now that I have offended a whole lot of other people I will conclude with something a friend of mine. who realized that the thousands upon thousands of Dollars he wasted on Theological Schools, said to me: (others have also said that same thing) When we stand in judgement before The Lord one of the things we’ll hear ourselves saying over and over is “Oops, I guess I got that one wrong also.”

I am sorry if I have in any way offended you, it is not my intention. It is not an act of love to allow someone to remain in error and I see you believe you are on the right path. Don’t ask me brother, ask HIm. I believe you’re headed for a door with a Heaven sign on it and a surprise you’re not expecting if you go through it. Been there, done that. I’m not smart or good enough to figure it out on my own.
Another central passage is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 which talks about believers being 'caught up' to meet Jesus 'in the air'. The interpretation of this passage is that this ‘Rapture’ is a silent and stealthy affair as Jesus comes to collect his people and goes back to heaven. There are a number of problems with this view. Firstly the passage is probably the noisiest in the Bible! There are trumpets, shouting archangels and absolutely no mention of us returning with Jesus to heaven.

One would expect the Blood Moons to be visible by everyone, especially if they are to be a sign from God almighty that the world will finally be ending! If the tetrad cannot be seen worldwide, surely it would be viewable in Jerusalem given its pivotal role in end time prophecy! According to NASA, the April 15, 2014 eclipse was NOT visible at all in Jerusalem, or the Middle East, or most of Europe, or even central Asia.
This will be my final entry in a discussion to that seems to have gotten way too far already. Every year, during the feast of Passover, I spend time removing the leaven of stale Christian doctrines, even more stale Rabbinic doctrines, Egyptian, Babylonian, Roman, Greek, you choose the influence you want because they all have affected what we are taught by human teachers. G-d did not want us to live without doctrines because we are only to live without leaven for a week and there is leaven in heaven. He just wants us to renew them and get rid of the leaven of the people infected by religious spirits (Pharisees) What I believe now is not what I believed 10 years ago when He rescued me from the not so New Age movement and after years in Christian and Messianic denominations ordered me to get out of Babylon. He has not and will not change; I have and will continue to as, by His grace and in His Power, I follow His Word, His Son and “shema” His Spirit. That’s my story and I’,sticking to it.

Dispensationalism also believes the rapture will occur “pre-tribulation” and at “any moment,” combined with “premillennialism” (Jesus will return before a literal 1,000-year reign). The scenario was formulated largely by John Nelson Darby (1800-1882), a Church of England pastor in Ireland who left to join what became the “Plymouth Brethren.” Notably, Darby emphasized that the Bible predicted the restoration of Jews to their homeland long before Jewish Zionism arose.
American evangelicals have widely viewed Israel’s existence and progress over the last century as evidence of a divine plan according to scripture. Following the tradition of Genesis 12:3, Hagee’s followers believe that “Christians should bless and comfort Israel and the Jewish people” according to the brochure handed to me as I entered the church.
But not everyone agreed that the blm army should be the law. People wondered: Why did the blm send an army to confiscate some cows? Why did the rangers need attack dogs? More importantly, why do unelected, government-appointed bureaucrats have their own private militarized police force that supposedly supersedes the authority of local police? Why didn’t the blm solve this problem through regular law-enforcement channels?

Bundy’s problems started in 1993, after the desert tortoise was put on the endangered species list and the blm ordered Bundy to remove most of his cattle. He refused. The blm responded by levying fines. Bundy then decided to stop paying his grazing permit fees, saying something to the effect that it didn’t make sense to pay management fees to an agency that was trying to manage him off his land. At that point he gave up his rights, say lawyers, and began stealing from the public.
Hagree graduated from Trinity University in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science in History and Education in 1964. He was on a football scholarship and appeared on the academic dean's List. Hagee received a master's degree in educational administration from the University of North Texas in Denton in 1966 and completed his theological training at Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie.[2]
The connection between Christians and Israel is the Bible. The Bible begins in Genesis 12:3 with God speaking to Abraham, “I will bless those that bless you and I will curse those who curse you.” You fast forward to the Psalms where David commands Christians everywhere to pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “They shall prosper that love you.” Fast forward to Isaiah 16:1 that says, “For Zion's sake I will not be silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not keep my peace.” That means Christians are to speak up and to defend the state of Israel. Not to speak is to speak. To see evil and not call it evil, is evil. Fast forward to Romans, the 15th chapter in the 27th verse where Paul says, “If the Gentiles – that’s anyone who’s not a Jewish person – if the Gentiles had benefited from the Jewish things, then the Gentiles owe it to the Jewish people to administer to them in material things. The Jewish people have given to us the patriarchs, the Old Testament prophets. They have given to us the word of God. They have given to us the first family of Christianity: Mary, Joseph, and Jesus. The twelve apostles and Saint Paul. if you take away the Jewish contribution from Christianity, we wouldn't exist. That’s the connection between Christianity and the Jewish people.
Helmke and Levy remarked that local Jewish leaders often do not have a problem with taking donations from Hagee. Many welcome his denouncements of anti-Semitism and support for Israel. In contrast, Rabbi Mara Nathan of the reform Temple Beth-El in San Antonio was dismayed by the friendship between Scheinberg and Hagee. “Temple [Beth-El] doesn’t have anything to do with Hagee or that whole evangelical movement, particularly because he says such atrocious things about gay people, about black people. I don’t want to have a friend like that,” she told me in 2016.

“I was literally moved to tears as I began to walk the streets of Jerusalem and I remembered the historical nightmare that the Jewish people were forced to live because of organized Christianity’s brutality,” Hagee told the New York Times about his 1976 visit to Israel. His focus on Christian responsibility for the Jewish community’s suffering became a fixture of his philosophy well after 1976. Abe Levy, a former reporter for the San Antonio Express News who interviewed Hagee several times, explained to me that strong opposition to anti-Semitism in San Antonio and around the world is an aspect for which Hagee became well known.
“The Bible speaks of signs in the heavens that have been discovered and recorded by NASA that you yourself can find on Google on the Internet,” Hagee told his church. “The coming four blood moons point to a world-shaking event that will happen between April 2014 and October 2015. What does it mean? What is the prophetic significance? Is this the end of the age?”
Great Article. I can’t really add anything to it that youhave not covered. I will say the Hebrew Roots movement is deceiving many. even though they know the word of God they are allowing the word to be twisted in the lie of going back to the law. And Most likely because they have been so disspaointed in their churches. Pray for the body of Christ to see the truth.
The central place of Israel and the Jews within this theology was given a boost following the events around World War One and the Balfour Declaration. The foundation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the return of Jerusalem into Jewish hands following the Six Day War in 1967 was viewed as evidence in favour of a Dispensationalist view of the End Times.

That being said, I wish it were available in a large print version. This is not my only Study Bible, but it is one of the top 3 or 4 that I own, and because of the thought-provoking articles such as the "Diamonds for Daily Living", and the well-done charts & maps, (as well as the fact that it isn't a large as a coffee table), it is usually the Bible I take when I will be away from home for days or weeks.
Hagee's endorsement of Christmas exemplifies he is, as so many, following the deceit of the Catholic church. Instead of exposing Christmas for what it is (Ephesians 5:11, see our report on Xmas), Hagee encourages people to have Christmas trees and do the very thing, at least in principle, he says God's people did in the past ("God's people were following the customs of the heathen . . . ."). Please note what the Lord told the Israelites in Deuteronomy 12:29-32.
You ask about the Rapture.  You are certainly right that many sincere Christians throughout the centuries have believed wholeheartedly in the post-Tribulation rapture of the saints, as is evidenced by a reading of the early church fathers.  Others, however, have believed in the pre-Tribulation rapture.  Still others, as I am sure you are aware, believe in a mid-Tribulation rapture.  Finally, there are some who believe the rapture is nothing more than symbolic of the protection the Lord provides believers in this life, shielding them through the grace of God from the attacks of the devil and/or wicked men and situations.
