“I also feel the end times are approaching,” said Daniels, who is best known for his No. 1 country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” “I don’t know the chronology. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know it’s closer than it was. I believe that the things left to be fulfilled in the Bible could be fulfilled in a very short amount of time.”

Before your head explodes at the thought of yet another story about an End Times-inflamed preacher, consider this. Not only does Pastor Hagee preside over the mega-church, Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, but he also heads a multi-million-dollar medias empire. Not only is he a powerful political player within the Republican Party, but he has established significant political connections in Israel. The faithful have lapped up many of the more than 30 books he has written, including: "Earth's Final Moments," "From Daniel to Doomsday: The Countdown Has Begun," "Can America Survive?: 10 Prophetic Signs That We Are The Terminal Generation" and "Jerusalem Countdown," which was made into a not-very-well-received movie. I think you get the general themes of Hagee's oeuvre!
The major sects of organized Christianity cannot help you understand prophecy. Most of today’s so-called Christian leaders reject Bible history and prophecy as an exercise in futility. Few even believe in the return of Jesus Christ and the end of this age. That is the main reason you will not hear sermons on prophecy in the great cathedrals and churches of the Western world.

Bruce McClure has served as lead writer for EarthSky's popular Tonight pages since 2004. He's a sundial aficionado, whose love for the heavens has taken him to Lake Titicaca in Bolivia and sailing in the North Atlantic, where he earned his celestial navigation certificate through the School of Ocean Sailing and Navigation. He also writes and hosts public astronomy programs and planetarium programs in and around his home in upstate New York.

“The relationship, I believe, started in 1980 or 1981 when Pastor Hagee wanted to do a Night to Honor Israel. It was a time that was in reaction to either Israel’s involvement in Lebanon or the bombing of the nuclear reactor in Iraq. He felt there was a need to have a positive evening for Israel,” Rabbi Avraham Scheinberg said about the close friendship his father, Rabbi Aryeh Scheinberg, has with Hagee. Scheinberg noted that his father was one of the only Rabbis to answer the call, likely because of the evangelical community’s history of proselytizing Jews.
John Hagee has been preaching a four-part series on "The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse." (Tweet that!) I have learned new information and what's fascinating to me is how the interpretations of these Bible prophecies are changing based on our current events happening in the world right now! (Tweet that!) My own interpretations are changing as well, which is immensely interesting to me. I always knew our understanding would change as the world changes and as the End Times come nearer and nearer, almost in view.
"The four blood moons, as soon as the fourth blood moon appeared, you will follow the press followings that Russia moved out of Russia into the Middle East," Hagee noted. "They moved their military forces into the Middle East. The 38th chapter of the book of Ezekiel says that when the King of the north moves out of the north, I will bring you out of the north. Then we are getting ready to watch the Genesis of the Gog-Magog War."

Harold Camping, the Oakland, California-based preacher who wrongly prophesized the coming of the End Times is now gone, but there's no shortage of End Timers out there in America. Anne Lotz Graham, the daughter of the Rev. Billy Graham, recently wrote a column claiming that the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 could be a sign of the coming of The Rapture; a reboot of the Left Behind movie, based on Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins' mega-best-selling Left Behind series of apocalyptic novels, is due in theaters in early October; and now, Pastor John Hagee, the master of his multi-million-dollar domain in San Antonio, Texas, is peddling an End Times book directly linked to "blood moon" eclipses.
Militia members from the Oath Keepers (the organization made up of military and law-enforcement members who pledge allegiance to the Constitution but not to the government), the iii Percent Patriots (which gets its name from the claim that 3 percent of Americans fought in the American Revolution), the Arizona State Militia and several others were present.
Note: Johannes Kepler first determined the mathematical principles necessary to model planetary orbits and published them in 1605. Isaac Newton subsequently published more general laws of gravitation and celestial mechanics in 1687. Before this time, the orbits of gravitating bodies such as planets and moons were not accurately calculable; therefore, the prediction of blood moon eclipses was only attempted by the visual tracking of the sun and moon through their orbits. The occurrence of a blood moon in ancient times would often be a surprise and a tetrad series would be completely unknown. However, now with computer technology to do simultaneous calculations of multiple orbiting bodies, an eclipse of the moon or a series of tetrads can be anticipated with great precision.
John Hagee believes in the concept of Pre-tribulation Rapture in which all of God's elected people both dead and alive will rise up into heaven and meet Jesus. He believes that  "the trumpet will sound...the Lord will descend from heaven...the dead will rise...the living will meet the Lord in the clouds" (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).  Hagee also states that "...the trumpet will sound...the dead will be raised incorruptible (imperishible)...all shall be changed...." (1 Corinthians 15:51-52). Hagee believes that the Rapture is intended to serve as an escape for the elect from the Tribulation and the final destruction of the world.

In what the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association describes as the largest outreach in its six-decade history, Graham will give a dynamic and poignant pre-recorded message the week of Nov. 7, his 95th birthday. The My Hope programs will be available for viewing online and on YouTube. The Cross, the primary program in the My Hope series, will be broadcast on the Fox News channel, TBN, Christian networks and local television stations in a number of cities.
The thing is that the blood moon/eclipse occurrences is not the only sign we are getting. You have Johnathan Cahn’s teachings on the shmita and the Isaiah harbinger prophecies. The world around us is falling apart. I had a Rapture dream in August, and the church I go to does not believe in the Rapture. I was a registered nurse, I was assaulted and became an addict. I lost everything and ended up using IV drugs. A couple years ago, I started going to church. I was still using and after about 6 months, I got up one morning prayed and proceeded to do a pain pill. I got the needle to my arm and I heard “You do not need that I have saved you”. That is when the spiritual attacks started. My husband passed last March, GOD gave me a warning dream, so I knew I would not be alone and gave it all to him. A month after he passed, I was lead to a man on y/t codesearcher dot net. He is a spirit filled Christian, he does Bible code. He does not use it for divination like most, he references the hidden messages with the plain text. He uses it for confirmation of the prophecies found in the Bible related to these last days. There is a table on the blood moons and the feast days (which are prophetic in nature and the Spring Feasts being fulfilled with Jesus crucifixion and resurrection). Here is a link to his tables, like I said he is on y/t as well. GOD bless
The eclipses in the 2014 - 2015 Tetrad all lasted less than two hours. The darkness that fell over Egypt as punishment for not releasing the children of Israel from slavery lasted for three days (Exodus 10:21 - 22). The day of the Lord, however, when God miraculously causes the moon to appear as blood, will last approximately eighteen months! This Biblical sign of the end of man's rule on earth will be so spectacular that it will be undeniable (Revelation 19).
“Does this mean that I must necessarily agree with all of the theological positions taken by Pastor Hagee? Not at all! True friendship means that I continue to love and even partner with my friend, despite disagreeing with him on even fundamental positions of theology and ideology – as long as his views do not threaten the life or limb of innocent human beings,” Riskin wrote.
Furthermore, there have been 62 tetrads since the first century AD, though only eight of them have coincided with both feasts. Additionally, three of the four eclipses in the tetrad were not even visible in the biblical homeland of Israel, casting further doubt on Hagee and Biltz's interpretation; even then, only the very end of the last eclipse was visible in Israel.[1]
"Mark Biltz has given Hagee the benefit of the doubt for too long. He overlooked a grave slight by Hagee in the way he handled his book—not crediting Biltz as the man who discovered the blood moons phenomenon. Instead, Hagee flattered Biltz as a 'Bible scholar' and suggested that it was a mere question by Biltz that set off his own discovery," said Joseph Farah, the publisher of Biltz's book and the producer of the movie version, said in the article.
But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them…For it is the God who commanded light to shine out o f darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4-6).
This passage details a very specific sequence of events culminating with the defense of Israel by God and their return to believing faith. This is emphasized as the final verse of the chapter stresses that whosoever calls on God’s name will be “delivered.” It is a time of salvation for the believing remnant of Israel. So why do we not see John Hagee or Mark Biltz mentioning the rest of the prophecies in Joel chapter 2? Why are they not talking about the mighty army that is going to ravage homes and destroy people in a manner never seen before? Why have they not mentioned these aspects and instead picking just one verse out of context? It is because they are not following Scripture but instead looking to the stars, NASA and Google for their prophetic interpretation.
Their coming-out party was May 14, at the dedication of the newly relocated U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem. “Let the name of the Lord be glorified today,” the Rev. Hagee proclaimed in his benediction, facing the assembled strange bedfellows of right-wing rabbis, U.S. senators and congressmen, settlement bankroller Sheldon Adelson, Israeli Likudniks and fellow Christian Zionists. “For the defender of Israel today, tomorrow and forever, is here. Can we all shout hallelujah?”
Hagee's answers to the questions above reveal a pattern of being undiscerning, which reveals he is wicked (Romans 1:31). Hagee is unable to discern that when a man does not believe in the six literal days of creation, that same man does not believe the Bible account of creation. Hagee is unable to discern the simplicity of Scripture on this accord (Genesis 1:31) and is confused calling these matters "complicated." Likewise, Hagee is unable to discern the plain teaching of Scripture regarding the literal 1000 year reign of Christ, stating that it has "not been made clear in the Bible," when in reality, it has (see Revelation 20). Hagee is unable to discern the psychological deceit of this age, as he refers to "low self-esteem" as a bad thing, when in reality, it is a good thing (Matthew 5:3; Philippians 2:3; Isaiah 5:20).
Rabbi Marc H. Tanenbaum, national inter-religious affairs director of the American Jewish Committee, remarked that the Jewish community felt abandoned by Protestants after 1967. “There was a vacuum in public support for Israel that began to be filled by the fundamentalist and evangelical Christians,” Tanenbaum told the New York Times in 1983. That vacuum was filled by eager leaders like Hagee, who as a boy heard of Israel’s independence in 1948 over the radio in Texas. He recalled being “mesmerized” and realized that “the birth of the State of Israel confirmed the accuracy of the Bible prophecy.” As Hagee explained in a 2017 sermon, “supporting Israel is not a political issue, it’s a Bible issue.”
In the 19th Century, liberal theology was habitually downgrading the Bible as scholars dismissed anything miraculous. The exponents of Dispensationalism, despite their faults, were all firm believers in the Bible as God's Word. As the liberal threat continued many people embraced the whole theological package as 'believing the Bible' became synonymous with 'holding to Dispensationalism'.
Collin, I wasn’t sure what of your point of view or ‘theology’ but was suspecting ‘reformed.’ Your siting the Geneva Bible was my verification. Dear Brother, (and I hope you are truly that) please research with an unbiased mind and heart the life and times of John Calvin. I am not his judge, but I suspect he is not with Messiah Yeshua. He killed, or as with most lying cowards had them killed, 52 people who disagreed with his ‘theology.’ One polymath by the name of Michael Servetus was burned at the stake for having the temerity to dispute and disagree with JC on the doctrine of infant baptism and the trinity. John Hagee in all his error and buffoonery doesn’t hold a candle to the blasphemous error of T.U.L.I.P. Please, dear one, it’s not too late to have your mind regenerated by the washing of the Word and the renewal of the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh). If there is a more pernicious and subtle false teaching as Calvinism, I’m not aware of it. If the root is bitter, so will its fruit. Shalom Aleikhem.

Hagee: God has sole control of His time clock. I do not believe the moving of the U.S. Embassy was necessarily part of a prophetic plan. I do believe that President Trump's decision to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem put America on the right side of history. Jerusalem has been Israel's capital since King David established it over 3,000 years ago. The president's decision recognized that fact.
"The night of Sept. 27-28 will bring a 'blood moon,'" writes CNN's Todd Leopold. "To skywatchers, it simply refers to the copper color the moon takes on during an eclipse, but to some Christian ministers, the fourth and final eclipse in a tetrad—four consecutive total lunar eclipses, each separated by six lunar months—fulfills biblical prophecy of the apocalypse."
Pastor Hagee is a world-renowned expert on Bible prophecy. This Four Blood Moons sermon series is something that speaks directly about end times prophecy and how it will affect the Children of God. It is like nothing you have ever heard! If you are wondering how long it will be until the Savior’s return and what we can expect before His arrival, this is the perfect series for you.
There are natural laws and supernatural laws. You will enjoy this sermon series with Pastor Hagee as he describes how to bring joy into your life in a dimension you have never before known through the miracle-working power of Jesus Christ. When you meet God’s supernatural requirements, the only thing that can happen is a miracle…and nothing is impossible with God. Learn what a miracle looks like and how to cry out to God and invite him to be the Lord and Master of your situation. He is still in the miracle-working business!
You will enjoy this sermon by Pastor Matt that paints a picture of the Good Shepherd who wants only the best for his flock. Do you need an anointing in your life? The healing power of God, through the Holy Spirit, can anoint you and heal every wounded place in your life. God has been saying this since the beginning of time. “I am the God who heals.” If you are in need of a special touch today, or know someone who is…let the Psalms found within this sermon saturate and heal the broken pieces of your life.

That does not mean you won’t experience any trials, or that you don’t need to take reasonable precautions to protect yourself. Neither does God promise us a problem-free life in this world. As Paul wrote to Timothy, “Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution” (verse 12). But He does promise to fight our battles for us—to deliver us from every trouble and affliction. And as long as you continue to obey God, you will overcome those trials—and emerge stronger for them.
Hagee would have his readers and followers believe that the blood moon, which is a lunar eclipse, is what is being described in Joel 2:31. In fact it is not. As explained above a blood moon is a total lunar eclipse – a moment when the Earth comes between the sun and the moon, putting the moon in a complete shadow. The moon during a lunar eclipse appears red in color because of the way light bends around the earth’s atmosphere, scattering short wavelength light (green through violet) and leaving longer wavelength light (red, orange and yellow). It’s why sunsets and sunrises generally are red. During the 20th century, there were 229 lunar eclipses and 85 of those were complete lunar eclipses which lead to the “blood moon.”
Hagee, pastor of Cornerstone Church and author of the newly-released book “Four Blood Moons,” told his 22,000-member congregation recently that the appearance of four blood moons on Jewish holy days between April 2014 and October 2015 points to a “world-shaking event” that could signify the beginning of events leading up to the seven-year Great Tribulation.
However, work hard to understand what the Bible truly says about prophetic events that will dramatically affect your life. You can put your full trust in what the Bible records about the soon-coming climactic world events. “We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts,” encourages the Apostle Peter (2 Peter 1:19). How wonderful that the Old Testament prophets and Christ’s apostles recorded all we need to know about prophecy.
Pastor Hagee was given the “Humanitarian of the Year” award by the San Antonio B’Nai B’Rith Council. It was the first time in the Council’s history that this award has been given to a gentile. Dr. Hagee was also honored with the ZOA Israel Award by U.N. Ambassador Jean Kirkpatrick, with recognition from the Jewish Community of Dallas, Texas. Mayor Kathy Whitmire set aside a special day of honor, declaring Pastor John C. Hagee Day in Houston, Texas.
