In 1977, Christian Zionist groups published ads in major U.S. newspapers in opposition to land concessions before Egyptian President Anwar Sadat’s visit to Jerusalem. But their efforts soon began to take a more politically organized shape. As political scientists John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt explained in The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy, Israeli military victories and deeper inter-religious ties encouraged Christian evangelicals “to begin working to ensure that the United States was on the ‘right side’ as the Bible’s blueprint for the end-times unfolded.”
Though I agree with most of what Hagee says concerning Tribulational events, his confusion of passages that concern the rapture of the church with passages that speak of the Tribulation and revelation of Christ mars chapters 6 and 7 (101-30). He quotes 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 right alongside Matthew 24, not recognizing they are speaking of different events. 1 Thessalonians 4 explains the nature of Jesus’ coming for His church and the translation of the church into His presence. On the other hand, Matthew 24 tells of events that transpire prior to the coming of the “Son of Man . . . with power and great glory” (Matt. 24:30). The 1 Thessalonians 4 passage speaks of the church meeting Christ in the clouds in their resurrection bodies. The coming of Christ in Matthew (24:27) is a very visible coming in judgment, and we know from elsewhere in Scripture, to the earth.
The setting is proclaimed in verse 1: this is the Day of The Lord -thus it is in the end times. For more information on this, please see our article “The Day of The Lord – The Event That Starts The End of The World”, where we go into detail though all of the Old Testament references to Day of The Lord that confirm that it is and end times period after the Rapture and before the Second Coming of Christ to Earth. It is a very specific time where God will judge the unbelieving world with a series of supernatural punishments.
... are leaving the EU but where do you think you are going to? She comes across as deluded, thinking the country is going to board some metaphoric coach and drive off. What leaving the EU means is REMOVING the EU bureaucratic administration layer from the top layer of the UK Government and re-absorbing those delegated powers. So all Whitehall has to do is repeal the Maatstricht, Amsterdam, Nice and Lisbon Treaties for starters; that shouldn't be too difficult as those bills breezed through Parliament on the way to being UK Law, so it should be even easier to repeal them.

Here is a short description: The modern nations of Israel—primarily the United States, Britain and the tiny nation called Israel in the Middle East—along with the sinning saints of God, will suffer great evils during a horrifying 2½-year period—even being conquered by foreign invasion and brought into captivity (Revelation 6:9-11). You can read more about this in our article on page 22.
Moreover, the matters above also reveal his trust is not in the Bible, but rather in what the "Christian" community is believing. In the answers given, Hagee says, "Christians hold various views" (on creation), "interpreters differ" (on the future), and "people come to different conclusions" (on the holidays). In truth, it does not matter what so-called "Christians" hold to, or what "interpreters differ" on, or what "different conclusions" people come to. What matters is, what does the Bible say? This is what true Christians believe (John 14:23-24). And in regards to John Hagee, and men like him, the Bible says,
Mr. Armstrong explained, “And now I want you to realize a most important fact, bearing on our problem, which most of you never realized before. Haven’t you supposed, along with nearly everyone else, that Jesus spoke in parables in order to make His meaning clearer—as a sort of illustration, so that people would better understand His meaning? Well, you have supposed wrong! On the contrary, believe it or not, Jesus spoke in parables to cover up, to hide the true meaning from the crowds that constantly followed Him! This knowledge puts in our hands the key that will unlock these symbols of the book of Revelation” (ibid). Study Matthew 13:1-13 to prove what Mr. Armstrong teaches here. Pay particular attention to verse 11.

By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. – Hebrews 11:24-27.

You stated that “the rapture” was a “theological concept developed just a couple of hundred years ago”. However, scripture clearly teaches that Jesus Christ will return to “catch up” the dead in Christ along with those in Christ who are alive. So, the rapture is not in question. What has been wrongly propagated is the “timing” of such. The “pre-tribulation rapture” is false doctrine and teaching and was developed just a hundred years ago. The truth of scripture is that Jesus Christ will return after the tribulation, but before the wrath (vials) of God is poured out on the world. I Cor 15::50-53, Matt 24:29, Rev 15 & 16. Surely God has made this evident to you by now, if indeed His spirit is your teacher.
“Do you realize how deadly dangerous this trend of lawlessness is?” asks Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry. “Very few people do. But it gives profound insight into the real nature of the threat facing America today. … This trend toward lawlessness is deadly! And I guarantee, based on biblical prophecy, that it is going to get far worse” (America Under Attack).
"We asked for two reasonable actions in a legal demand letter: a re-editing of the "Four Blood Moons" movie to remove the offending quotation from Hagee in which he suggested he had discovered the phenomenon; a clear unequivocal public statement that Biltz had, indeed, discovered the blood moons anomaly," said Joseph Farah, the publisher of Biltz's book and the producer of the movie version, wrote in a Sunday column. "But, so far, Hagee's representatives have declined even to discuss those demands. Instead, they have acted like the offended party, claiming WND and Biltz have mischaracterized the facts."
When the Lord your God cuts off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you displace them and dwell in their land, take heed to yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire after their gods, saying, "How did these nations serve their gods? I also will do likewise." You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way; for every abomination to the Lord which He hates they have done to their gods; for they burn even their sons and daughters in the fire to their gods. Whatever I command you, be careful to observe it; you shall not add to it nor take away from it. (see also John 4:24).
The great tribulation mentioned in Daniel 12:1, and cited by Christ in Matthew 24:21 occurs in 70 AD, when Jerusalem was destroyed by Rome. All would come to pass before that generation passed. Therefore, Hagee ignores the time parameters of the chapter, forcing an unnatural interpretation which makes the generation pass completely over the first century to arrive in the 21st century. Christ makes clear that the generation he spoke about presently existed in his time. A survey of Matthew’s gospel confirms this.
Pastor John Hagee The Four Horses Of The Apocalypse DVD. Neither heaven or hell has been presented to the American people through their churches and pastors in the last 35 years. Now the reality of hell is upon us. Use the Lord Jesus Christ as your saviour. These 4 Horses and their riders will soon ride across the stage of human history. John Hagee does a wonderful job of exposing the current events we are feeling today, with the Four Horseman of the apocalypse. From Obama, Israel, Nuclear iran, to China and Russia. It is written in the Bible and is now becoming reality. For those of you who are aware, this will help you see the big picture for what it really is, and how everything fits together. For those of you who have never been introduced to Gods word, this will help you understand how accurate the prophecy, that was written 2000 years ago, really is. Shocking for some and reasurring to others, John Hagee lays it all out for you to see in a remarkable 4 video series. Hagee’s support for Israel has brought him death threats. He has also incurred controversy for his comments based on religious beliefs regarding Islam, Catholicism, and homosexuality. America is turning her back on Israel, the Bible warns of this day. I gave you seven the exact similarities between the coming enterprises in the Bible and the Islamic Messiah.
Understand that God has a great purpose behind the heavenly signs discussed in Joel 2:31, Matthew 24:29 and Revelation 6. Mr. Armstrong explained, “God has warned the world through all His prophets—through His Son Jesus Christ—He is warning the world right now through this very Work [conducted now through the Philadelphia Church of God]. But God is a God of mercy and compassion. He will yet warn this world once again—by supernatural signs,in the sun, the moon and the stars. God will leave men no excuse” (ibid).
In what the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association describes as the largest outreach in its six-decade history, Graham will give a dynamic and poignant pre-recorded message the week of Nov. 7, his 95th birthday. The My Hope programs will be available for viewing online and on YouTube. The Cross, the primary program in the My Hope series, will be broadcast on the Fox News channel, TBN, Christian networks and local television stations in a number of cities.
The prophecy was dismissed by Mike Moore (General Secretary of Christian Witness to Israel) in 2014, but the term is still regularly used by the media and has become a worrying synonym for a lunar eclipse. Given the enduring superstitions, it is profoundly unhelpful for science communicators trying to remind everyone that the so-called “blood moon” is nothing to be feared. It may be impressive, and it may be the longest for a century, but it is simply an eclipse.
“The dramatic and unprecedented planetary climate change is something on the level of the apocalyptic predictions of the Bible,” McGuire said. “We’re on the verge right now, because of climate change, of massive food and water shortages, which could affect tens of millions of people worldwide because of the droughts that have occurred. The intense heat and water shortages have dried up the crops, and we are going to see that play out in the near future because of all the freak weather.”
Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. –Matthew 23:34-39.
With eloquent writers such as Hal Lindsey backing this viewpoint, talk of the Rapture became very popular in the late 1970s. However the expansion of these ideas went through a lull in the 1980s as a rediscovered ‘Kingdom’ emphasis took hold. Then in 1995, LaHaye published the first book in his Left Behind series. This was probably the biggest boost to the dispensationalist movement since the arrival of the Scofield Reference Bible in 1909 (which effectively served as the manual for Dispensationalim through the 20th Century).
It is evident from Hagee's answer that he believes a person can actually have the Spirit of God dwelling within them, be saved, and yet be a pervert ("I'm a man, but I like to dress in women's clothes"). This denies the power of godliness (2 Timothy 3:5). Hagee even mentions Deuteronomy 22:5 which points out that those who do such things are an abomination to God. Yet, here talking to such a person, Hagee reveals he believes that such a person could actually have peace with God in the midst of such wickedness ("If you have received Jesus as your Savior and Lord, His Spirit then dwells within you"). Revelation 21:8 reveals that the abominable will have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone which is the second death. Someone who knows Jesus Christ (1 John 2:3-5) would no longer be such a pervert (John 8:31-36; Romans 7:22).
A massive, Hezbollah-inspired protest involving tens of thousands of Lebanese and Palestinians occurred in Beirut shortly after Trump announced he would move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem. The protesters could be heard chanting that America was “the Great Satan” and Israel “the little Satan”. The Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah gave a speech at the rally […]
God will then initiate a spiritual revival in Israel by pouring out The Holy Spirit among the newly reconciled and repentant Israeli believers. This is established by the prophecies that will be spoken among the people. At this point, the context of Joel 2 should be clear: this is an end times revival in Israel. It is a time where God is directly intervening to carry out judgment on enemies of His people and restoring a nation that did not acknowledge Him and seeks repentance. And this is where we approach the critical verse for the Blood Moon Theory:
In a sermon in the late 1990s, Mr. Hagee said the Bible made clear that Hitler and the Holocaust — when about six million Jews were killed — were part of God’s plan to return Jews to Israel. “How did it happen? Because God allowed it to happen,” he said, referring to the Holocaust. “Why did it happen? Because God said my top priority for the Jewish people is to get them to come back to the land of Israel.”
So, how you get the idea that satan was the first teacher of God’s word, is beyond me. He clearly twisted the word to make Eve sin. If satan was teaching God’s word, he would not have been cursed and then told he was going to be destroyed in the future by the coming Messiah Jesus Christ (Genesis 3:14-15). He lied, because he is the father of lies (John 8:44). And you know God speaks the truth because he can’t lie (Numbers 23:19, Hebrews 6:18). I will pray for you brother. I urge you to search these scriptures I referenced so you can understand God’s truth through his word. May grace, peace and love be multiplied unto you from God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. God bless

I find it interesting there were three huge events that took place BEFORE each of the tetrad of blood moons. Therefore, maybe we should be paying attention that something very significant could take place before the completion of these blood moons as well.(You have admitted something very significant took place Before these four blood moons were completed in the past.)
This series covers many great questions of the Bible, like, “Am I my brother’s keeper?” The answer is “yes.” Find out why the Lord commands us to love our neighbor as ourselves. While the world around us might look chaotic, God has a plan for not only our survival, but how we can thrive until the day of Christ’s return. Do you know the signs of the second coming?

But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God should shine on them…For it is the God who commanded light to shine out o f darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. (2 Cor. 4:4-6).
John Hagee is the author of four New York Times bestsellers, as well as Jerusalem Countdown, which itself has sold over 1 million copies. He is the founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a nondenominational evangelical church with more than 20,000 active members, as well as the founder and president of John Hagee Ministries, which telecasts his radio and television teachings throughout America and in more than 100 nations worldwide. Hagee is also the founder and national chairman of Christians United for Israel, a grassroots national association with over 1 million members to date.
The core beliefs of these evangelical preachers and their tens of millions of followers in the U.S. deserve a much closer look now that they’re riding shotgun alongside President Donald Trump, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, White House senior adviser Jared Kushner and bankruptcy lawyer David Friedman, who is America’s ambassador to Israel and a supporter of Israel’s settlements.
Great Article. I can’t really add anything to it that youhave not covered. I will say the Hebrew Roots movement is deceiving many. even though they know the word of God they are allowing the word to be twisted in the lie of going back to the law. And Most likely because they have been so disspaointed in their churches. Pray for the body of Christ to see the truth.
“I also feel the end times are approaching,” said Daniels, who is best known for his No. 1 country hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” “I don’t know the chronology. I don’t know when it’s going to happen, but I know it’s closer than it was. I believe that the things left to be fulfilled in the Bible could be fulfilled in a very short amount of time.”
Those who are being called out of “organized religion” are being called out to obey YHWH’s word, not just study it. Shema does not translate well to English. When you do the Passover, not the “Rabbinic” but the biblical way, followed by 7 days of getting the leaven of man made doctrines and keeping His high days, YHWH’s Spirit will teach and transform you. When YHWH’s begotten said that we should let no man be our teacher he had a reason. If you are in a covenant relationship with Him you have access to Him, so why ask me or anyone else when you can ask Him directly. Shalom Aleikhem.

That surprised us when we first heard it. A few years ago, when the expression Blood Moon first gained widespread popularity, it didn’t refer to just any lunar eclipse, but to a special series of eclipses, four totally eclipsed moons in a row. Such a series is called a lunar tetrad. In 2013, two Christian pastors popularized the term Blood Moon in their book, in which they discussed an upcoming lunar tetrad in apocalyptic terms.

You ask about the Rapture.  You are certainly right that many sincere Christians throughout the centuries have believed wholeheartedly in the post-Tribulation rapture of the saints, as is evidenced by a reading of the early church fathers.  Others, however, have believed in the pre-Tribulation rapture.  Still others, as I am sure you are aware, believe in a mid-Tribulation rapture.  Finally, there are some who believe the rapture is nothing more than symbolic of the protection the Lord provides believers in this life, shielding them through the grace of God from the attacks of the devil and/or wicked men and situations.
Well-known to millions of Christians because of his television ministry, Rev. Hagee (the book lists him as Dr., but he does not have an earned doctorate) is the pastor of one of America’s largest word-faith churches. He has been granted several awards from Jewish organizations for his outspoken advocacy for the nation of Israel and Jewish rights. His interest in Israel is no doubt related to the fact that he is also very interested in prophetic fulfillment and is a dispensationalist, believing in a pretribulational coming of Jesus Christ for His church.
“The final act of the Book of Revelations is going to take place right here,” said the Rev. Irvin Baxter, founder of Texas-based Endtime Ministries. He stood on a hill in the Israeli town of Megiddo, overlooking a vast stretch of the Holy Land. Irvin, whose tour was captured by Vice News, told several dozen rapture-ready Americans: “The word ‘Armageddon’ is actually two words: Har Megiddo, or hill of Megiddo. You are standing on the hill of Megiddo right now. And when Israel’s about to be defeated, the Bible tells us that Jesus Christ himself will intervene. He is going to defeat the Antichrist; he is going to defeat the false prophet. Both of them will be cast alive into the lake of fire. At that time Satan is going to be bound for the next 1,000 years. And we are going to crown Jesus Christ as king of kings, and lord or lords.”
The John Hagee Family Singers have released several major recording projects. They have performed at the National Quartet Convention as well as other major concert halls and arenas across America and Canada. Pastor Hagee and his family, along with Randy and Elizabeth Travis, and other groups, continue to minister around the country with Crusades, bringing hope and joy to the body of Christ through music and the Word of God.
