Satan is a defeated foe! Jesus Christ is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah. He is the Mighty One of Israel. He is the once and soon-coming King! Are you ready, Church? Our time is growing short! While no man knows the day nor the hour…all of the major players are walking onto the world stage. I believe that we are literally watching Bible prophecy unfold before our very eyes.

When Yigal Amir assassinated Rabin in 1995 to prevent his government from agreeing to any withdrawals from the West Bank, evangelical Christian Zionists viewed the event through the same lens as 1967. It was an inevitable step toward the rapture. As Hagee explained in Final Dawn over Jerusalem, the assassination “launched Bible prophecy onto the fast track.”
Our world is plagued by fraud, theft and deceit. And if you believe your Bible, you know it will get worse before it gets better. As the Apostle Paul warned, “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived” (2 Timothy 3:13). He prophesied exactly the sort of conditions that prevail in these “last days”: “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God” (verses 1-4).
In, The Revelation of Truth, Dr. Hagee unveils the pictures that God has painted–not on paper or canvas–but in the Bible and the annals of human history. “In the beginning, God knew that Satan and sin would color His creation black, and that only blood red could restore mankind. Still, He dipped His finger in the blue of an ocean and painted a sky, then nudged His thumb into clay from which He formed a man. Knowing everything that would be required of man and Himself, God continued to create”out of love for His creation” (Revelation of Truth).
Joseph was not recognized by his brothers because he looked Egyptian and spoke another language. Yet he was the one that brought salvation to Israel. I believe Christianity has hijacked Yeshua and has been presenting an Egyptian which is why Yeshua is not recognized. Just as Jewish children were taken, converted to Christianity and not given back to their parents after the holocaust the same has happened to Yeshua. I believe he desires to go home.” (source).
Hagee is a compelling writer (far more than Biltz's Blood Moons book), and at times his enthusiasm is contagious. But despite his insistence that this work is based on Scripture, he has two glaring errors: (1) the Scriptures he notes have additional signs as well (such as the stars going dark) for which he does not account, and (2) nowhere does Scripture say that four consecutive lunar eclipses is significant--this is an occurrence he has decided must have importance due to its rarity. Furthermore, the Joel 2 and Revelation 6 prophecies seem to be speaking of a singular event, not a recurring event.
The Bible very clearly says in Joel the 2nd chapter, “I will show wonders in the heavens.” That’s a declaration that means that God wants us to see the things that are happening in heaven. “I will show you wonders in the heavens. The sun will not give its light.” That’s the solar eclipse that’s happening Friday. “And the moon shall be turned to blood.” Now, that’s where I got the title of the book. Jesus himself said in the Gospel of Luke, “I will show you wonders in the heavens: the sun, the moon, and the stars. And when you see these signs in the heavens, lift up your heads and rejoice, your redemption draweth nigh.” So Joel says it. Joel’s words are repeated exactly and acts in the second chapter. Jesus repeats that message in Luke the 21st chapter. So you have a three-fold biblical confirmation that these signs in the heavens are gods billboards that something big is about to happen on planet earth.
Hagee states at the beginning his reasons for writing the book. He wants to help his readers understand how contemporary events fit into God’s timetable for the future regarding the entire world, Christians, and especially the nation of Israel. He affirms that Christ’s imminent return requires Christians to conform their personal lives to God’s standards, and that Christians should be expectant for Christ’s coming for them (pp. ix-x).
Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.  And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

I do not agree that paying attention to the four blood moons is a heresy or unbiblical. The fact is that the blood moon IS mentioned in scripture and so is the blackened sun….both twice. So we need to at least observe things the way our Lord tells us to and make our lives right in His sight and be prepared for him WHETHER these signs in the heavens portend Jesus actual 2nd coming or not.

One prophetic commentator trumpets his belief the tetrad occurs during the Holy Days and rhetorically asks what it all means. His answer is to warn people to wake up and heed what he labels the "ominous" signs from heaven. A World Net Daily article on whether Jesus will return in 2015 quotes Pastor Mark Blitz as suggesting the string of lunar and solar eclipses to fall on God’s annual Feast days, and the appearance of a blood moon, could herald the second coming of Jesus.
While holding the Jewish people apart, John Hagee asserts that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry. Members of the Cornerstone Church are encouraged to find a place of ministry in the Body of Christ and utilize the gifts that the Holy Spirit has placed within them.
